~ What do I need to build my website? ~ Well, you donīt need that much really. In my opinion notepad is the best program to write html in, its completely free and comes with windows. If you have any other operative system, there is probobly something similar that comes with it. Im sorry I do not know any other systems than windows. Then you need a webhotel, a host who can serve you the space for your website. You can either pay for your own domain and space, there are many many to choose from, so you need to look into it and decide wich one you think sounds the best, talk to your friends, maybe they can recomend you a host? Or you can use a free account for a website for example at www.geocities.com, all you have to do is sign up and you are on your way to your own website! Although programs like dreamweaver and frontpage can be a good tool to use, I recomend you to always learn basic html before you even open up such programs. Html will be very useful for you to know, even if you use the programs. If you donīt know html and something spooks with dreamweaver or frontpages codes, then if you dont know html, you wonīt know what wrongs to look for. So I will not teach any programs.
